Cholesterol is essential for the normal function of the body. Nonetheless, when its level in the blood rises beyond the normal level it causes health complications that include heart diseases. One of the causes of rise in serum cholesterol is consumption of diet that is high in cholesterol. Therefore, adjusting diet is one approach to lowering serum cholesterol level and maintainging healthy lifestyle.
